Dictator General Anton Vincent (Michael Caine) of British-Caribbean is forced to leave his kingdom after the break down of riots. To save himself from this situation, he flees to America and takes shelter in the home of unconventional family of single mother Darlene Mills (Katie Holmes) and daughter Tatiana Mills (Odeya Rush). Tatiana and Anton already knew each other and were in contact with each other by exchanging letters. Anton teaches Tatiana, how she can start revolution and take over the means girls of her school.
